My keypads are not working!

When I vote on my keypads they don't show a number. The little light just goes round on the display and then shows a 't'.

The keypads will only show a number on the display if there is an active voting activity. That could be a vote or the test screen. At all other times, the keypad will behave as you described because the keypad only shows a number on the display when it receives a response from the receiver. The receiver is effectively asleep if there is no voting activity running.
If you have an issue when there is a voting activity taking place, there is a communication issue between the receiver and the keypads.
Possible causes are:

• The receiver is not connected to the laptop via USB. Check it's connected and then see if the light is showing on the back of the receiver.

• The keypads have not been set up in the software. In PowerPoint go to Add-ins > CLiKAPAD > Set up> Keypads and fill in the boxes for the lowest and highest keypad numbers. To see what keypad numbers you have, check the number stickers on the back of the keypads.

• The keypads and receiver are not on the same channel. There is a guide in the resources section that shows you how to check your keypad and receiver channels.
