How many keypads can a receiver manage?
Re: How many keypads can a receiver manage?
In theory 4000 keypads. However, in reality, the range of the receiver/keypads will almost certainly not cover this theoretical limit.
In big rooms, we would recommend putting your receiver high up so as to maximize the range of which it will get a signal and avoid obstructions.
We tend to use a second receiver when the audience is greater than 300 theatre style or about 150 cabaret style. The best thing if you have a very large event to manage, is to get in touch with us with the details. We’d want to know the number of keypads, the layout of the room (rows of chairs or round tables for example). What would be even more helpful is a floor plan.
